ErvQueen consulting, a consulting firm offers a variety of social, academic & business services to assist those in need of improving their quality of life. ErvQueen is an old business with a new name due to it's veteran and experienced founder Rev. Reginald L. Gilford Sr.

About the owner

Rev. Reginald L. Gilford Sr. was born in Galveston, Texas and is a 1978 graduate of George Ball High School. He holds degrees from Galveston College (A.A. 1990, Pre-law), College of the Mainland (A.A. 1997, English), Texas Southern University (B.A. 1995, Speech), and the University of Houston-Clear Lake (M.A. 1999, Cross-Cultural Studies). He is also a licensed (1994) and ordained (1999) minister. He is a 2007 Village Keeper Award Recipient for contributions and service to the community by the Nia Cultural Center. He has been also recognized by the College of the Mainland Foundation as a 'Hero", for service to the community, as part of the Champions of Challengers organization.


He is noted for his recruitment, lectures, presentations, motivational speeches, religious messages, negotiations, civil rights involvement, unique singing style, and his management of the World's Oldest Recording Artist, the late Edith "Mama" Randolph, who passed away at the age of 104 years.


He has served as a "Directions for Texas" board member, and has served on many school and community committees.

He arguably speaks to more public school students then anyone in Galveston County. Assisted students in receiving high school diplomas, challenged institutions on fairness towards others, fought for senior citizen in court and assisted her in cutting down tree so no fine was issued, Has been Master of ceremony and narrator for many programs, promoted gospel concerts, challenged school boards to give teacher raises individually and collectively, sponsored AVID tutors for a school district, negotiated NFL contracts, organized community display for legendary singer Joe Tex, among many other things.
 
Family

Rev. Gilford has four children, Krystal, Reginald Jr., Cortney Sr., and Tori. He has three grandchildren, Bryndi, Cortney Jr., Chloe, and godson, Justin.

Personal

I have always prided myself on being a servant and helping my fellowman. Though I am blessed with wonderful talent, I have always placed others ahead of my own interest. My desire is assist folk in improving the quality of life. My greatest joy, is in the Lord. My biggest smile, is when people smile.
